(DIG.INT) Erasmus+ project

Digital International Trainers (DIG.INT) is an Erasmus+ project, co-funded by the European Union and developed by a consortium comprising 8 institutions from 6 European countries. Thanks to this international collaboration alliance, it will be possible to develop training tools and paths to support the Vocational Training systems in their internationalization processes by using the full potential of opportunities for digital transformation.

The aim of the DIG.INT project is as follows: to support VT organisations in the digitization process and the generation of effective competences and strategies for internationalization, giving organisations as well as individuals the chance to level up their capacities and abilities.

So the project anticipates 3 levels of action:

  • The micro-level of motivation and competences of teachers and learners (individuals)
  • The meso-level corresponding to the training provider (organisation)
  • The macro-level of regional innovation ecosystems (territory)

The main aims of the project are as follows:

  • To develop indicators and diagnostic competence to support the internationalization process of VT systems.
  • To develop a competence framework and a multilingual learning platform that contributes towards the development of the competencies of teachers, trainers, Vocational Training staff and experts.
  • To support vocational training schools in the development or consolidation of their internationalization plans.
  • To help the local innovation agencies and Vocational Training policymakers specify and implement internationalization strategies.
