Introduction

Meka LHII is a public school of the Basque Autonomous Community Government. It was founded in 1899.

It was set up by Elgoibar Town Council as an “Academy of Drawing”. It has two different centres, one in the San Roque neighbourhood and the other on the Albitzuri industrial estate.

The one in the San Roque neighbourhood is called Bernardo Ezenarro and offers the Training Cycles in Administration and Finance, Administrative Management, Senior Support Technician in Management, Auxiliary Nursing, Dietetics, Pre-Primary Education, Care of Dependent People, Social Integration, Communication Mediation, Gender Equality Promotion, Machine Electromechanics, and Maintenance and Safety of Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Systems.

The other centre is on the Albitzuri industrial estate and is known as the Albitzuri building. The Training Cycles offered there are Automotive Training, Bodywork, Vehicle Electromechanics, Welding & Boilermaking & Metal Construction.
